The viewing experience on Kanopy is now easier than ever with the switch from play credits to tickets.

With this update, each month you’ll get a set number of tickets and you can watch as many titles as our library’s ticket limit allows. You can easily see how many tickets are required from a title's details page and how long you'll have to watch the video before pressing play.

Kanopy Great Courses also use tickets, while Kanopy Kids content remains free to watch.

Or if you haven't used Kanopy before, did you know you can watch thousands of feature films, documentaries, and bingeable series for free from our library?
You just need your library card and password to sign up for Kanopy. To get started:
1. Go to Timaru District Libraries' Kanopy page
2. Add your library card (with password)
3. Create a Kanopy account (you will need an email address)
4. Start watching videos!
