Updated: Access to Stuff titles have changed in PressReader

From 1 November 2019 Stuff titles are no longer accessible on PressReader outside of our libraries.

PressReader has advised there are changes to the digital distribution of content provided by Stuff Ltd, in New Zealand libraries. Starting on November 1st 2019, Stuff content is no longer available to users through PressReader outside of our libraries' WiFi hotspots.

Stuff content is fully accessible to patrons on both library and personal computers as long as they are inside one of our 3 libraries and via our public WiFi.

Publishers put a lot of work into their content, and this change reflects the publisher’s wish to maintain ownership of their titles while keeping them available to library patrons.

Below is a list of the Stuff titles that are affected:

Timaru Herald (Weekday & Weekend Editions)

The Press (Weekday & Weekend Editions)

Southland Times (Weekday & Weekend Editions)

Waikato Times (Weekday & Weekend Editions)

Dominion Post (Weekday & Weekend Editions)

Nelson Mail (Weekday & Weekend Editions)

Manawatu Standard (Weekday & Weekend Editions)

Taranaki Daily News (Weekday & Weekend Editions)

Marlborough Express

Sunday Star Times

Sunday News

TV Guide

NZ House and Garden

NZ Gardener

If you would like assistance on how to access these titles please call into Timaru, Temuka or Geraldine libraries, where staff will be available to advise you.

PressReader apologises for any inconvenience. The PressReader team is always working hard to bring libraries and their patron’s access to the world’s most premium, trusted titles – and expect to launch many more in the coming months.
